Votan™C - General Function
Cutting with laser is a thermal cutting- off process where a focused laser beam melts and evaporates the material.

Laser cutting systems from JENOPTIK use two different technologies, depending on the cutting task.

Cutting by sublimation:
The material evaporates when the laser beam is of sufficient intensity

Fusion cutting:
The material melts and the melt is expelled by the working gas.
