Laser cutting systems from JENOPTIK use two different technologies, depending on the cutting task.
Cutting by sublimation:
The material evaporates when the laser beam is of sufficient intensity
Fusion cutting:
The material melts and the melt is expelled by the working gas.

- Saves several processing steps because neither reparation nor re- work are required
