Advantages of DAB and PAB

Transfer of VOTAN A technology which has been realised for airbag covers in
complete IPs in more than 100 VOTAN A systems to a new range of products.
This technology is characterised by:

  • High process reliability by a controlled laser process to residual wall thickness and taking advantage of the laser energy that is transmitted through the residual wall
  • Applicable to different material and wall thicknesses
  • Online quality control and documentation of the process parameter that were used for the part
  • Parameter for each perforated hole can be registered and stored
  • Active process control by the system itself, irrespective of the operator, if inquired marking of ok./not ok. parts
